Remember!

Gabriel dropped this gem on me last night:

“I don’t have a head made of 5,000 pinballs!”

He was pretty insistent.

Sean has found his soapbox. He climbed it this morning to bemoan the loss of the “good old days of Cartoon Network”, starting a protest of the “new Cartoon Network”. I’m thoroughly amused by this concept coming from the mind of a five year old. Especially considering that all the shows he enjoys watching were produced in his lifetime.

Author: john ingram

This iteration of John Ingram was created in response to increased demand in global John Ingramness. Previous incarnations were less suited to fulfill this need.

  1. You know, I could imagine Sidney having this reaction. Pining for the days of Powerpuff Girls, Cow and Chicken, Dexter’s Laboratory, Dial M for Monkey, Samurai Jack et al. But, shit, the only shows Sean has ever really watched have been Flapjack, Chowder and Adventure Time, all of which are still in production. Not including FMA (he’s developed a weird moral objection to discussing anything that happens or has happened on Adult Swim) or ATHF – both of which he can watch on DVD.

Personally I miss Foster’s Home for Imaginary Friends. Sean and Gabriel did watch some of those episodes (you can still get them worked up by saying “Bunnies” in a Cheese voice), so perhaps that’s the root of his discontent.

I’m just glad some of this stuff is available on DVD, so I can relive it in the future. I’m not a huge fan of Ed, Edd & Eddy, but I want a few episodes to keep so I can marvel at the genius of Plank and Rolf.
