Transference is derived from a set of experiments involving a laptop running Linux and an application for stretching audio files. The basic structure of each track was laid out over the course of a week and each was subsequently enhanced with various instrumentation to create a strangely homogenized series of hauntingly ethereal dark ambient pieces.
