Field Recordings

My personal collection of field recordings and found sounds. These recordings were captured over the last six years, and represent some of the atmospheric elements that have formed the basis of a variety of my noise projects over those years. The recordings are unedited, and therefore may not always be of the highest quality. You should expect some hissing, low-end rumbling, wind noise and the occasional accidental contribution by the supposedly unobtrusive recorder.

The files are all available in both 16-bit stereo WAV and 256kbps stereo MP3 format, to accommodate those who prefer fidelity and those who prefer download ease.
These recordings are available for commercial and noncommercial use in sound recordings. They may be redistributed non-commercially. Commercial redistribution of these recordings is strictly forbidden by myself and the tenets of common decency. New files will be added as I get out and capture more of the world in which I live. Check back every so often…

  2. Do you still have those found sounds I contributed, by chance^^? Well, I might find them amongst 298 backup discs somehow, but seem to have lost them^^. There’s soundtransit too, always in fear to close down due to heavy costs, but there you could add maybe a few of your sounds and people can “travel to Seattle” that way^^. There even are 2 who contributed sounds from Seattle.
