Say Hello; Wave Goodbye

Why, hello there. Welcome to Intelligent Machinery dot net. My name is John, and I own the place.

I registered this domain name back in late 2001 with little, or no, purpose in mind. Since then, this website has been host to many a flight of fancy -- zine, musician alliance, netlabel, pseudo-netlabel, musician alliance again and most recently, an ill-defined repository of collected endeavors. At this point I have lost the vision for what this site should accomplish, and so I am going to bow out for a while. Take a break from life and just breathe.

What I will say, though, is that over the years, many talented people have contributed to the various permutations of this site, and created a fantastic archive of sound tools, free MP3s and informative articles that I still enjoy. These I leave in place. I was lucky to have worked with such a great group of people over the years, and I still want to share the fruits of our labors with the world, until such time that I may again decide to redefine the purpose and intent of this nebulous entity that is Intelligent Machinery dot net.

Enjoy.
