There I go again…

Here’s that promulgation I promised.

Since I announced the Doomsday project, I have pondering how to release it: or, more pointedly rather, through whom should it be released. I reached out to a few people with whom I had dealings in the past, but was losing faith in finding a label that would be willing to make an open-ended arrangement for carte blanche Intelligent Machinery compilation releases.

Faced with the task of finding a new label and distribution for each compilation, I opted for the easier route. I took two steps backwards and decided “Oh, fuck it. Let’s just do this ourselves…”

So, without further ado (that was plenty, I would say), I am somewhat embarrassed to announce the Official Intelligent Machinery Archive.org Collection page:
http://www.archive.org/details/intelligent-machinery

I never intended to get back into the netlabel business, so this is only to serve as an outlet for these compilation projects. Previous compilations that were not already hosted through another label will be added to this collection, as I have time. Moving forward, this will be the official hosting venue for any compilation project I curate.

So, what can we take from this announcement? There won’t be any issues releasing future compilations, but the marketing is going to take a nosedive…

As always, my lovelies, caveat emptor (motherfuckers).
